GLOVES, in Finnish "hanskat," abbreviated as GLVS. Jefu is the nickname of American football in finnish, so jefuhanskat means american football gloves.

The GLVS brand and Jefuhanskat.fi were founded in 2019 when, as an enthusiast of the sport, I realized that it was difficult to find good American football gloves and accessories in Finland at reasonable prices. The only gloves and equipment available in this small football country were from large sports brands. In my opinion, the gloves and other gear were overpriced, so I wanted to make a change. That’s when I decided to start my own Finnish American football brand and offer products to customers at truly reasonable prices!

There is no "brand premium" like the big sports giants charge in GLVS American football gloves and equipment prices, and this business is not run by thousands of employees. Our supply chain is shorter and more straightforward than the big sports brands.
